When we started our commercial program in 2018, we were thrilled to start collecting glass from bars, restaurants, and other businesses. Today, in 2022, we collect glass from over 300 businesses!
While our small, but mighty, team worked hard to get businesses around the Kansas City metro to subscribe to get their glass recycling picked up, we could not have done it without the help of Tito’s Vodka.
In 2019, we started working with Tito’s Handmade Vodka, who offered to provide the first month of service FREE to any customers who signed up to recycle glass with the promo. This was huge and we cannot thank them enough.
With Tito’s help, we have signed up 165 bars, restaurants, businesses, and multi-family homes, which have recycled 640,630 POUNDS of glass! This glass would have otherwise been sent to the landfill and is now processed to be made into new bottles or fiberglass insulation.
