Ripple Glass is excited to celebrate Recycle Glass Month all September!
Join us as we build awareness of the importance of glass recycling and in turn, recycle more glass!
Glass recycling rates across the nation are hovering at only 30% and in Kansas City, it’s even less at around 20%. We have a lot of work to do, so let’s go:
Here’s how you can participate!
RECYCLE THAT GLASS
If you have a bottle or jar you’ve been hoarding, get to a purple bin or your local recycling center and recycle it this month! Yes, even ONE bottle counts.
SPREAD AWARENESS ABOUT GLASS RECYCLING
Tell your friends, family, and co-workers! Together, we can keep glass out of our landfills and make our communities more beautiful places to live, work, and play.

BOULEVARD BREWING COMMUNITY CROWLER
All September Long
A portion of proceeds from crowler sales will benefit Bridging the Gap, an organization that works to make Kansas City sustainable by connecting the environment, economy, and community through education and volunteer action. To double the sustainable impact, Ripple Glass will be donation matching crowler sales for September.
BINGO AT BOULEVARD
Tuesday, September 13
5:30 pm – 7:30 pm
Join us for a sustainability focused bingo night. We will be joining Bridging the Gap for this family-friendly event. Stop by the Ripple Glass table to grab a reusable bag and learn about glass recycling while you’re there!
GO GREEN 2022 ENVIRONMENTAL FAIR
Saturday, September 17
9 am – Noon
Join us for Go Green 2022! This FREE family-friendly Environmental Fair aims to show you how each small step you take can help reduce your carbon footprint at home, school and work and save money while doing so. TOUR DE BIER
Sunday, September 18
The Tour de Bier is a fun, social bike ride that explores Kansas City’s historic neighborhoods and local craft breweries. We are excited to be sponsors this year. Attending the event? Be sure to bring your glass! We will have a bin onsite at the after-party. More info here.
